Protective Orders
I have assisted numerous victims of family violence
for over a decade.
I have been recognized by the
State Bar of Georgia for her representation of victims
of family violence and has taught family violence
seminars to legal advocates.
I worked on behalf of the
Georgia Coalition of Domestic Violence by
representing victims, training legal advocates and
recruiting attorneys to assist victims of family violence.
I also worked as a contract attorney for Georgia Legal
Services to represent victims of family violence on
their behalf in Douglas, Paulding, Polk and Haralson
Counties.
I do NOT represent perpetrators of family
violence and ask that perpetrators seek other
representation.
I do recognize that sometimes
Protective Orders are used to gain a strategic
advantage in
family law proceedings and will
represent and fully defend those who are unfairly
accused of family violence.
